Submersible pumps are rated on the average number of gallons delivered per minute to the well head from various water level depths. Models rated at 7 GPM (26 LPM) are for small homes, cottages and light water usage requirements. 10 and 19 GPM (38 and 72 LPM) models are for the average size residential home and family.

Motors used on Star submersible pumps are designed to meet NEMA standards.  All models are available with either 2 or 3 wire connection plus ground wire. Pumps require a 4" (10 cm) minimum inside well diameter.

Splice kit also included in package for completing all electrical connections.

Control box required for 3-wire models (sold separately). Quick-disconnect control box features replaceable snapout cover and keeps all components above ground for easy access and repair. Control box not required for 2-wire models.
